Christmas spirit filled Limeridge Mall as Legend 102.9 teamed up with the Salvation Army Hamilton for this year’s Mountain of Hope toy drive. The campaign rallied listeners, local businesses, and families to give what they could—and help make the holidays brighter for children across the city.
Supported by Tandia Financial Credit Union, Michael St. Jean Realty, and Red Hill Toyota, the event invited residents to drop off new, unwrapped toys or make donations to the Salvation Army Kettles. From morning to evening, Sunni & Hayes, Taylor Kaye, and Darrin Laidman broadcast live from the mall, sharing stories, laughter, and moments of generosity as the pile of toys kept growing.
Our goal is to not only support radio, but to focus attention on uplifting our local communities and further developing the connection with our listeners, our partners, and those most in need this holiday season.
For Whiteoaks and Legend 102.9, Mountain of Hope was more than a campaign—it was a celebration of connection. A reminder that when radio, community, and kindness come together, the results reach far beyond the broadcast.
